A Historic Collaboration
In a move that has sent waves of excitement through the alternative rock community, Silverstein and Story Of The Year have officially announced their upcoming co-headline tour, titled the Camp Screamo Tour. The month-long trek, which kicks off on July 12th, marks a significant milestone for both bands, as it represents the first time these two genre-defining acts have toured the United States together.
Joining the two headliners for this highly anticipated run is special guest Origami Angel. Tickets and exclusive VIP packages are set to go on sale starting Friday, April 10th, at 10:00 AM local time. Fans are encouraged to visit http://silversteinmusic.com/vip for further details.
A Long-Awaited Union
Reflecting on the tour, Silverstein frontman Shane Told expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “It’s official! Camp Screamo is happening!! This is the summer tour we’ve wanted to do for a very long time. Believe it or not, this is the FIRST TIME Silverstein and Story of The Year have toured the US together, which feels illegal considering how long we have been friends,” Told shared. He promised fans an experience that is “nostalgic, loud, chaotic, fun, wild, emotional, slightly unhinged, sweaty, mildly dangerous, and a little irresponsible.”
Story Of The Year echoed these sentiments, noting their excitement to perform a mix of new material from A.R.S.O.N., fan favorites from Tear Me To Pieces, and the classic anthems that defined the early 2000s scene. “We’re pumped to be sharing the stage with Silverstein. They are great dudes and they rip live. They’re also a really important band to the scene, and their records just keep getting better,” the band stated.
Silverstein’s Continued Momentum
The announcement follows a banner year for Silverstein, who celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2025 with the release of their ambitious double LP, Antibloom / Pink Moon. The band’s recent “25 Years Of Noise” tour saw them move nearly 110,000 tickets, cementing their status as a powerhouse in the modern rock landscape. Their latest work, recorded in the high desert of Joshua Tree, has been critically lauded for its emotional depth and dynamic range, with Antibloom earning a nomination for Metal/Hard Album of the Year at the 2026 JUNO Awards.
