Rising singer/songwriter Matt Hansen is back with his new single and video “Compass,” the latest in his breakthrough streak of emotionally-driven hits, including “Something to Remember” (300M streams), “LET EM GO” (300M), “yellowstone” (50M), and most recently “DON’T LOOK BACK.”!
About the new track, he explains, “I wrote Compass about the kind of love that keeps you centered – the person who pulls you back when you start to drift.”
“Compass” wraps another momentous year for the 25-year-old singer/songwriter, who has independently built a devoted global following with his raw emotion and impassioned vocals. His stripped-down renditions of classics like “Yellow” and “Iris” first connected with millions on TikTok, where he now has over 3 million followers, before breaking out with an original catalog that has amassed over 1 billion streams worldwide. He has since brought his commanding voice to stages around the world, headlining tours across North America, Europe, and Australia, opening for Teddy Swims, Lauv, Train, and Alec Benjamin, and most recently wrapping a sold-out Australia headline tour.
Matt is currently putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming debut album, with details set to be announced in 2026.
