Madness announce Hits Parade tour with special guests Squeeze.
Camden’s finest will hit the road this December with a greatest hits package that promises to be a real Christmas cracker. Kicking off at Sheffield’s Utilita Arena on Thursday 4 December, the tour will visit Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, Cardiff, Birmingham and more, before wrapping up at The O2 in London on Saturday 20 December.
News of the Hits Parade tour follows the earlier announcement that Madness will play several huge outdoor shows in the UK this summer, including Bedfordshire’s Tofte Manor (13 July), Dreamland in Margate (2 August), and Colchester’s Castle Park (23 August).
“The last tour we did was to promote our album C’est la Vie which you very kindly got to No.1 in the charts,” said frontman Suggs. “That tour did include a lot of the songs off our new album, which was fantastic and went down very well, but we thought this time we’re going to do a real hits spectacular – A, because we don’t have a new album, and B, because I know that’s what you want at Christmas time.”

Madness have been national treasures in Britain for approaching 50 years. Often referred to as the ultimate singles band (since 1979, they’ve enjoyed 31 Top 40 hits, plus 17 in the Top 10 and one No.1), they’ve produced 12 studio albums including 2023’s (Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est la Vie), a film (1981’s Take It Or Leave It) and remain, to this day, one of hardest gigging groups in the UK.
Touring partners Squeeze, featuring Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook, have their fair share of classic hit singles to draw upon, including Cool For Cats, Up The Junction, and Labelled With Love.
