London alt/indie-pop quartet daydreamers have launched their highly anticipated new era with the anthemic, hook-driven new single “Good Intentions.” Following the buzz of their 2024 debut self-titled EP, a sold-out UK headline tour and standout performances across the festival circuit, “Good Intentions” sees the band deliver exactly what the title implies – a confident step forward that cements them as a rising mainstay. “’Good Intentions’ was written about learning to be at peace with making mistakes in my life,” says band leader Riley. “Even when everything goes wrong, it can be comforting to remember that trying your best is pretty much all you can ever do.”

“Good Intentions” marks daydreamers first release since last year’s debut EP – a dazzling eight-track project that positioned the band as a true one to watch. Their debut single “Call Me Up” sparked a viral frenzy on TikTok, amassing over 80 million views, while the EP has accumulated tens of millions of streams.

Known for their euphoric performances, daydreamers have seamlessly transformed their infectious hits into a captivating live show, building a loyalty that goes far beyond screens – a tough feat, proving that they are cultivating a passionate fanbase both online and in the live arena. The band have since gone on to impress at festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Latitude, TRNSMT, Y Not, Isle of Wright, TRUCK, The Great Escape, Kendal Calling, BST Hyde Park and more, while supporting heavyweights Kings of Leon and Pale Waves on tour. In addition, daydreamers were invited to join Sea Girls on their UK tour, which included dates at the likes of London’s O2 Academy Brixton and Nottingham’s Rock City. daydreamers debut headline tour was a sell-out, and most impressively, their first-ever live show sold out before their debut single was even released.

Along the way, daydreamers have experienced a wave of critical acclaim, garnering support from the likes of Uproxx, DORK, Wonderland, EUPHORIA, Ones To Watch, MTV, and more. BBC Radio 1 have championed the band, and invited them to perform live in session at the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios for Future Pop.
