A Loss For Words and Negative Progression Records are celebrating today’s release of the These Past 25 Years 7”, marking the first new music from the beloved Boston, MA band since the release of their 2016 album Crises. Available now both physically and digitally, fans can hear the two new tracks “The Night” and “Weird Motivation”, the latter of which features vocals from Nashville based artist Julielle. The band have also just announced a pair of home town anniversary shows in November in addition to their planned gigs earlier in the fall including Warped Tour 2025. All dates listed below.

From their inception in 2000, A Loss For Words was one of the first bands to spend significant time playing within both the hardcore & pop-punk scenes. They truly live at the crossroads of those worlds, and seamlessly incorporate the energy of a basement show with melodies making for the catchiest of ear worms. Stage diving, moshing, or just singing along, it’s all fair game at an A Loss For Words show. Hailing from Boston, MA, the band spent almost two decades on the road, bringing their boundless energy and DIY spirit to fans across 30 countries (including 6 years on the Warped Tour). Through their extensive touring and multiple releases with Rise Records, A Loss For Words has made an indelible mark on the underground music community, and they look forward to sharing new music with those fans this fall.

“This band is my everything,” shares lead singer Matty Arsenault about the new singles and upcoming shows. “Getting to play this music after 25 years gives me hope to keep fighting for everyone who doesn’t have a voice.”

A Loss For Words is composed of Matty Arsenault (Vocals), Mikey Adams (Guitar/Bass/Vocals), Marc Dangora (Guitar), Jack McHuge (Drums), and Nevada Smith (Guitar). Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more news and tour date announcements from A Loss For Words.
