Alt-pop singer/producer XTINE returns with her boldest release to date: “Nobody Stays.” The new single captures the push-pull of love, fear, and mental health through a etheral mix of distorted vocals and ambient production.
Built around the gut-punch lyric “Will I keep you or will I end up pushing you?” The track offers a window into the emotional chaos of borderline personality disorder. Written and produced by XTINE herself, the song strips back the metaphors and leans fully into emotional honesty.
The self-directed video is just as raw. Shot on VHS in a studio setting, it centers on her connection to songwriting and production—no filters, just a mic and a notebook. “When I’m in the studio, I feel like I’m flying,” she says.
“Music has always helped me become more self-aware,” XTINE shared in a recent interview. “Sometimes all I had was a song that made me feel less alone.”
With collaborations tied to Under the Sisterhood and DMAX Foundation, the artist continues to write with purpose, connecting deeply with fans facing similar struggles.
