Born in Edison, New Jersey, Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, aka Halsey has released four albums in between 2012 and 2021. Her latest work, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, has been entirely produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. The LP is a blending of Nine Inch Nails dark atmospheres and Halsey’s electropop sounds.
Released via Capitol Records, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, has been recently celebrated by Billboard magazine with a long interview dedicated to the unlikely collaboration among the three of them. The album, which you can listen below, recalls the sounds of Ross and Reznor recent soundtracking works, melting them with the pop style of the young artist.
