Australian new wave and post-punk band Radio Free Alice have officially announced their debut studio album, What’s In Between. The record is set for release on October 30, 2026, via Atlantic Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band has shared their rapturous new single, “Crying With You,” accompanied by an official music video directed by Milo Hume.
The band continues to build momentum following a series of high-profile live performances. With a busy touring schedule ahead, including appearances at Reading Festival and major U.S. dates at Riot Fest and Austin City Limits, the group is cementing their status as one of the most exciting acts in 2026 music.
Regarding the creative process behind the new single, lead singer Noah Learmonth shared, “We wrote ‘Crying With You’ whilst on a writing retreat in Joshua Tree in California. We were staying at this beautiful property owned by producer Nicolas Vernhes, surrounded by desert and Joshua trees for about a week and recorded a handful of demos and jams. The verse and chorus were originally different songs, but we stitched them together, which is something we like to do quite a lot.”
Learmonth added, “It’s a huge relief to finally announce the album. We’ve lived with these songs for such a long time and they’ve become such a big part of our lives, so knowing there’s now a date when they’ll finally exist outside of us feels incredibly cathartic.”
The production of What’s In Between features the expertise of renowned producer Peter Katis, known for his work with Interpol and The National, alongside contributions from Ewan Pearson and Finn Billingham. As the band prepares for an extensive UK and European tour, fans can look forward to a record that captures the raw, energetic storytelling that has defined their recent rise.
