Rising country artist Laci Kaye Booth has officially shared her latest single, “Pathetic,” a standout track from her highly anticipated forthcoming album, Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart. On this deceptively silky track, Booth offers a brutally honest look at her internal landscape, unveiling her innermost thoughts during moments of profound doubt. The song was crafted in collaboration with Ben West—who has worked with artists such as Stephen Wilson Jr. and Ella Langley—and Melissa Peirce. West also served as the producer for the new record, as well as Booth’s acclaimed 2024 project, The Loneliest Girl In The World.
“‘Pathetic’ represents my most vulnerable moments,” Laci Kaye Booth explains. “It’s who I am in the middle of the night when I’m questioning my faith and admitting that I let myself bleed when life and love cut me because I like the proof that it leaves.”
Recognized as one of Spotify’s Artists to Watch for 2026 and a standout in CMT’s Next Women of Country program, Booth is set to bring her sound to the stage this summer. She will join Ella Langley on a select run of tour dates beginning July 23, including a two-night residency at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles this October. “Pathetic” arrives as the follow-up to her recent release, “Ethereal Redneck Shit,” which she debuted live during CMA Fest at Nissan Stadium’s Platform Stage.
Love Ain’t For The Faint Of Heart is scheduled for release on September 18 via Lost Highway Records. As her third studio album, the project promises a cinematic journey through diverse sonic textures and personal growth. Fans can look forward to a record that captures the harsh reckonings and triumphs of her career thus far.
