MPH, a leading force in the modern UK Garage scene, has officially teamed up with acclaimed songwriter and vocalist Nathan Nicholson for their latest collaborative effort, “Long Goodbye.” Released today via Disorder / Capitol Records, the track serves as a poignant exploration of the end of a relationship, elevated by Nicholson’s soul-stirring vocal performance.

The production, handled entirely by MPH, features intricate programming and instrumentation that creates a soundscape described as an ethereal transmission to a cosmic dancefloor. The songwriting process was a collaborative effort involving the two artists alongside Paul Visser and Ella Mayjor.

“I’ve always wanted to make a really euphoric piano house track with pure summer vibes. When Nathan sent his vocals, it all came together,” says MPH. “‘Long Goodbye’ is always a highlight in my sets as it lets everyone take a breath.”

A Collaborative Powerhouse

Nathan Nicholson, who splits his time between Tennessee and London, brings a wealth of experience to the track. With nearly half a billion global streams to his name, he has become a go-to collaborator for industry heavyweights, including Dom Dolla, Kygo, Anyma, Chris Lake, Claptone, Sammy Virji, and Jazzy. Beyond his solo work, Nicholson is widely recognized as the frontman for the indie-alt band The Boxer Rebellion, with whom he has recorded seven studio albums.

Global Touring and Future Plans

MPH is currently in the midst of a massive global tour, with appearances scheduled at major festivals including Parklife, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, CRSSD, and III Points. He is also set to support FISHER at [UNVRS] in Ibiza on July 17. Following his festival run, MPH will embark on a series of headline shows this fall, including stops at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Black Creek Assembly in Toronto, and the Knockdown Center in New York City.

The producer continues to solidify his reputation as a generational talent, following a string of successful releases and high-profile remixes for artists such as Calvin Harris, Anderson .Paak, and Four Tet. His recent work, including the April 2026 single “Unconditional,” has received widespread critical acclaim for its driving, full-throttle garage aesthetic.
