Byron Bay three-piece HEADSEND have released their debut EP Angel Glands out today, following a run of already announced live dates, including Australian shows and slots at The Great Escape in the UK, with additional UK/EU tour dates to follow. The band will hit the road soon.

Built first and foremost as a live band, HEADSEND’s rise has been defined on stage. Over the past year, the trio – Rasmus King, Kyuss King and Bon Soric – have sharpened their reputation through relentless touring, supporting Wunderhorse on their sold-out Australian run and stepping onto arena and stadium stages with Tool and AC/DC. It’s a trajectory earned the hard way: loud, direct sets that prioritise feel over polish and leave little distance between band and audience. As Scenestr noted after seeing them open for Tool, “audiences are transfixed by the band.”

Their debut Angel Glands EP features the ferocious tracks ‘Stove’ and ‘Chugg’, alongside the recently released woozy anthem ‘And Angel’ and latest single ‘Do Do’.

Drawing directly from the raw onstage energy shown during these performances, the EP channels the unfiltered intensity of HEADSEND’s live shows. Recorded live in-studio by Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots), the EP preserves the dynamics and physicality that have fuelled their word-of-mouth rise as a live act.

With more than 40 + shows played across Australia in the last year alone, HEADSEND have built momentum the traditional way – in rooms, on stages and in front of crowds. The upcoming run of dates, including their first appearance at The Great Escape UK, marks the next expansion of that live footprint into the UK and Europe.

Angel Glands arrives as a snapshot of a band already operating at full intensity on stage, now pressing that energy to tape without diluting its scale.
