Just before his first-ever performance at Ultra Miami, DJ/producer Marlon Hoffstadt, AKA DJ Daddy Trance, has released his new single, “Breathe.” Released today via Capitol Records in partnership with Goodlife Management and MC3, the exuberant track captures a sense of the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
“‘Breathe’ reminds me of those endless nights with friends, that coming-of-age feeling where you’re completely in the moment and somehow it feels like it could last forever,” says Marlon Hoffstadt. “There’s a bit of melancholy in there too, but in a good way, like the kind of moments you already know you’ll look back on one day. In my sets, it’s that moment when everything suddenly opens up emotionally and we celebrate together. I can’t wait to play this song at my Ultra Miami and Coachella debuts.“
Marlon Hoffstadt wrote “Breathe” with Andreas Josef Huber, Ben Samama, Jan Hammele and Michael Aldag.
Marlon Hoffstadt will play a B2B set with Armin van Buuren today at Ultra Miami and he’ll perform on the Main Stage on Sunday, March 29. He’ll make his Coachella debut on April 10. Playing clubs in his home city of Berlin from the age of 15, the perpetually smiling DJ has been on fire since 2020, when he reinvented himself as DJ Daddy Trance and started breaking all the rules of the scene that raised him. Whether he’s teasing new material in his sets, uploading new tracks to SoundCloud unannounced, or unexpectedly dropping five new tracks at once, (like he did with his All Yours EP), his music always feels like a loving dialog with his hardcore fans.
Declaring that All Yours finds him moving from “cult favorite to global figurehead,” MARVIN Magazine said, “Each track pushed the BPM and the emotional ceiling…[his brand of trance] isn’t ironic – it’s pure, communal, and deeply alive.” GRAMMY®-nominated DJ FISHER later remixed one of the EP’s standout tracks, “Daddy’s In The Club.” Listen HERE. Marlon Hoffstadt celebrated the October release of the extended version of his All Yours EP at ADE 2025 (Amsterdam Dance Event). Marlon Hoffstadt closed out 2025 with a flurry of releases, including remixes of Robyn’s “Dopamine” and BNYX and Kid Cudi’s “Everywhere I Go (Remind Me),” “Hold You Close” with Peter Xan and his collaboration with Mark Ronson on a flip of “Rumore” for the film Jay Kelly, which starred George Clooney and Adam Sandler. Earlier this month, he and Hannah Laing unveiled their collaboration, “Stomp Your Feet” (with Caroline Roxy).
