Genre-fluid artist FILLY drops her new single and music video to “Chemical Love,” today via slowplay/Interscope Records/Bamboo Artists. The track and video solidifies the Vienna-based singer and producer as a rising star in pop and electronic music, channeling addictive attraction into an edgy glossy anthem. The release follows her February single, “Over And Over” and continues to set the stage for her upcoming EP set to release soon. “Chemical Love” explores the sweet yet dangerous hold of a passionate and dependent connection that feels dirty but in the best way.

“‘Chemical Love’ is about connections so intense they become a little bit of a dependency. It’s that tipping point where you’re so obsessed with someone else’s glow that you don’t realize your own is fading. I wanted to use that pulsing, French-house energy to show the transiences of these highs. The more you chase their light, the more your own star bleaches out until there’s nothing left of you.” – FILLY

In the past few years, she’s built steady progress on the heels of her Lollapalooza Berlin debut and a string of show dates that have cemented her as an artist to watch in the electronic-pop world. FILLY has also teamed up with The Teenagers for their “Serious” collab that kicked off her evolving new era leading into this next project.

Known for blending hyperpop gloss with European dance pulses, FILLY pairs sharp production with those raw, grounded narratives that truly set her apart. “Chemical Love” gives another peek into what’s ahead for FILLY: an artist who balances her bold alien persona with real personal and relatable stories, growing her footprint in between pop, dance, and pure personality with more music and major plans already in motion.
