Southern California alternative-rock band Trueblood has announced their signing to Mercury Records, marking a major milestone in the group’s rapid rise. To celebrate, the band—teenage brothers Cameron Trueblood (drums), Dylan Trueblood (guitar), Mason Trueblood (vocals/guitar), and Ethan Trueblood (bass)—release their label debut single, “Make It Out,” available now. Alongside the single, Trueblood has unveiled a new visualizer for “Make It Out,” which can be seen now below.

Trueblood’s signing follows a remarkable grassroots ascent. The band first gained traction through a series of viral TikTok covers, amassing over a billion views and building a deeply engaged fanbase. That momentum quickly translated into real-world success, with tens of millions of streams and an entirely sold-out eight-show West Coast headline run, culminating in a 600-capacity hometown show at SOMA in San Diego. In a full-circle moment, the band also opened for The All-American Rejects at an intimate backyard performance, where frontman Tyson Ritter joined them onstage for “Move Along.” The band has also received co-signs by artists including Coldplay, Maroon 5, the Goo Goo Dolls, Black Eyes Peas, sombr, Laufey, Lil Tecca, and more.

Earlier this month, The New York Times spotlighted the band’s meteoric rise, exploring their breakout success on TikTok, the fervor of their growing fanbase, and the unique dynamic of four brothers building a band together. Read HERE.

Fresh off a sold-out East Coast tour with stops in New York City, Philadelphia, DC and Boston, Trueblood continues their momentum with a hometown show tonight at The Observatory North Park in San Diego. The band will then head to Los Angeles for a sold-out performance at The Troubadour on Sunday, March 22.
