Duran Duran have announced details of their European Tour 2025.
The band will play two dates in Ireland ahead of previously announced concerts in Exeter and Chelmsford. The Irish shows will take place at Dublin’s Malahide Castle on 30 June and Cork’s Virgin Media Park on 1 July, before heading to Exeter’s Powderham Castle on 3 July and Chelmsford City Racecourse on 5 July.
Fans can expect a setlist packed with classics like Hungry Like The Wolf, Ordinary World, and Rio, alongside newer tracks from their acclaimed 2023 album Danse Macabre.
Duran Duran have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, scored 18 American hit singles and 21 UK Top 20 tunes, cementing them as one of the most successful and influential bands of all time. They have also been honoured with eight lifetime achievement awards, two Grammys, two BRITs, and two Ivor Novellos one of which was for their Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
Very Special Guest
Forming part of a wider European Tour, that includes performances in Finland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Germany and Spain throughout June into early July, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers will be supported by hit-making collaborator Nile Rodgers in the UK and Ireland.
Nile, who worked with Duran Duran on their global No.1 single The Reflex, alongside a myriad of other tracks across their four-decade career, will perform hits with his band CHIC. As the co-founder of CHIC, Nile pioneered a musical language that generated chart-topping hits like Le Freak and sparked the advent of hip-hop with Good Times and Rapper’s Delight.
His work in The CHIC Organisation include We Are Family for Sister Sledge and I’m Coming Out for Diana Ross. While his productions for artists such as David Bowie (Let’s Dance), Madonna (Like A Virgin) and, of course, Duran Duran, have sold more than 500 million albums and 100 million singles worldwide.
