Hekla is the project of Icelandic composer, vocalist and theremin virtuoso Hekla Magnúsdóttir. She has announced the release of a new album called Xiuxiuejar which will be out on September 9th via Phantom Limb. “The Hole” is the new excerpt. It is a specially extended version not featured on the album. On the atmospheric piece, she is joined by Hörður Bragason of Apparat Organ Quartet, and HAM member Óttarr Proppé.
