Adeline Hotel is the project of New York-based guitarist and vocalist Dan Knishkowy. He’s back with a new 7” called How Long Will I Stay Awake? which is out now via Ruination Record Co. According to the press release, Following last year’s experimental guitar Good Timing and baroque pop The Cherries Are Speaking, How Long Will I Stay Awake? returns to the intimate folk-rock of 2020’s Solid Love.

That previous trilogy of records functioned as its own cycle, building upon and subverting one another in equal measure (Solid Love, a celebration of community; Good Timing, a retreat to isolation; Cherries, an imagined dream world). How Long Will I Stay Awake? is the sober awakening from that dream, an imagined argument in the mirror, the restless hunger for seeds of something new.

How Long Will I Stay Awake? was recorded with Will Stratton and features Macie Stewart (of Finom fka Ohmme) on violin, and Adam “Bones” Robinson on woodwinds.
