Three years after sophomore full-length You Don’t Belong, Minsk-based sound artist and composer Kirill Mazhai is back with a new album called Мелодия which is out now via Russian label Картаскважин and it is a collaboration with  Russian artist and history teacher Egor Klochikhin aka Foresteppe.

According to the press release, «Мелодия» consists of melodic loops that seem to have been lost a long time ago and now reappear on the album, breaking through to the listener through layers of distorted sound. This musical process can be interpreted as a story about how to find yourself again, gather from the fragments of experience, try to listen to the present, and, in the endless stream of events, get ahold of something for yourself. Or, even better yet, someone.
