Recently formed in 2020, London-based Beige Banquet, the brainchild of guitarist/vocalist Tom Brierley, have now evolved from a DIY bedroom recording project into a full five-piece band featuring Joe Munsey (Guitar), Danny Gillies (Bass), Ian Crafter (Drums) and Blake Carlson-Joshua (Percussion/Synths).
With the release of Beta and the self-titled EP coming just after the easing of UK lockdown, the band are poised for a string of dates in London, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol, Glasgow and Brighton. It ‘s almost impossible to avoid the charm of the early drum machines of the 1980s, guitars atonal melodies blended with a jerky vocal attitude.
