Jack Conman is a British, Manchester based singer-songwriter and musician inspired by artists such as Jeff Buckley, Pete Doherty, Aretha Franklin and Chet Baker. He has announced the release of the self-produced debut album called Seventh Sense Libido which will be out later this year. We introduced him with the track “Come Back In The Room”; “The Beauty of Women” is a new excerpt which shows his embracing vocals and the essential lines of the sound.
He explains: “It’s not solely a love song even though people have said it sounds like one, it’s more an appreciation for the women and people who identify as women in my life – including my mum, girlfriend, friends and relatives. There’s a section of the song that says “It’s the beauty of women that gives me this bad luck” this part is a tongue in cheek way of saying that I’ll never be worthy of a woman’s love, not because I don’t have self worth and not because I actually have bad luck but because women are an untouchable force. The video is basically a documentary about some of my dearest friends and their unprecedented strength in womanhood.”
