I love how “Reflections Since ’09” is quite reminiscent of an early house sound, and it’s the advent of the atmospheric textures which juxtapose this with a modern flair.
Apart from the early house aesthetic, we also pick up traces of garage and acid – particularly near the end with the chromatic arps. I can happily say this is one of my favorite releases from the Australian record label Clipp.Art, and it also has that sense of long-lasting replayability by virtue of the gripping progression.
