Joanna Guerra is a Lisbon based cellist, singer, composer whose distinct passion for experimentation and adventure lead her to regular collaborations with innumerous musicians in different genres and with projects in dance, performance and theater. She has announced the release of a new album called Chão Vermelho which will be out on November 13th via Miasmah Recordings.
According to the press release, it is a collection of ritualistic, lamenting pieces influenced by the increasingly dry ground of the surrounding area of central Portugal. Check the first excerpt “White Animal“.
