Gonçalo Almeida is a Portoguese bassist and composer , now based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. He has been making a mark as one of Netherlands’s most interesting new generation of bass players. He has released a new album called Monologos A Dois which is out now via A New Wave of Jazz. It was performed and recorded at the Old Church in Oud-Charlois, Rotterdam.
