Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Angel Deradoorian (Deradoorian), Greg Fox, Mick Barr (Ocrilim, Krallice), and Brad Truax (Interpol) have formed a Black Sabbath cover band called BSCBR. Their first release is a 7" single titled Master of Rehearsal, featuring renditions of “Sweet Leaf” and “Fairies Wear Boots.” It’s out September 4, 2020 via Famous Class Records with 100% of digital proceeds going to Black Lives Matter. According to a press release, BSCBR began in 2019 after Zinner, Deradoorian, and Fox met up at a music residency in Berlin. Back in New York City, Truax and Barr joined and the group began playing live shows.
