CloudNone and Direct are back with a 3-track EP on Monstercat, a follow-up to the duo’s Mojito / Margarita EP from earlier this March. Their latest release’s emotionally-charged middle track, “Slip”, is a noteworthy standout, featuring shimmering downtempo sensibilities.
Alongside it is a deep, textured vocal cut that propels the listener throughout the duration of its approximately three-minute runtime. Rife with an atmospherically ambient edge, “Slip” is a beautifully-executed electronica opus that effortlessly paints an ethereally vivid, dreamlike sonic tapestry of sound.
