I’m having a hard time trying to encapsulate “Bring Me the Mountain” into a cohesive and well-packed sentence as the track’s essence is drenched in a bizarre, but cool complex-ness.
Barcelona-based artist Uma teams up with Lucy Lu for the creation of a dark, yet elevating sonic experience. Uma herself says the song is about ‘being seen when you are in pain and vulnerable… about the people who help you out of that and the people who stand by and watch’. It is the sound embodiment of love in all its forms, written during the pandemic from Uma’s music residency at her house in Spain.
