smlsnd is the new collaborative album between American composer, musician and sound artist Bill Seaman and Italian sound artist Nicola Fornasari aka Xu. It is out via Fluid Audio. According to the press release, smlsnd is about small sounds, atmospheres, environments, noises, and small melodies. The album was put together from a distance (as most collaborative works are these days), Seaman in Durham, North Carolina, USA, and Nicola Fornasari in Cremona, Italy. Some sample libraries were exchanged and the album grew and changed quite organically. Both artists contributed to the titles.
