Muzz is a new band which include Paul Banks of Interpol, Matt Barrick (The Walkmen, Fleet Foxes), and Josh Kaufman (Bonny Light Horseman). This year they have released the first collaborative album which is out via Matador Records. They have announced a new EP called Covers, out on December 9th, on which the trio reimagine songs by Mazzy Star, Bob Dylan and Tracy Chapman, serving as an illustration of their collective inspirations, as well as sonic testament to their imagination and fluidity as a musical outfit, imbuing the idiosyncratic classics with their own interpretations.
